Second time we’ve been since the new owners and it’s been fabulous on both occasions. Such a variety on the menu so there is something for everyone and the kids menu is great too. Food is amazing and the portions are huge so you’ll never leave on an empty stomach. The staff are friendly and attentive and really care about their customers. We enjoyed our time here, thank you! X

We visited in our motorhome we can't really comment on the food as we didn't try it but what ws coming out looked excellent. Definitely coming again brilliant staff very accommodating

Really enjoyed this last-minute stop at the Ship Inn. food has a real good home-cooked experience loved my mushroom starter and a lamb shank. Thank you.. a little shortstaffed but they still always had a smile friendly service thank you. I will be back. Nothing was too much trouble.

Visited here on Friday night with my wife. We both had fish and chips which were absolutely perfect. Portions were generous and perfectly cooked,all for a very reasonable price. Staff are very friendly as were the other customers. Can't fault and will certainly be going again.

Great pub serving great food. Dog friendly too. Large portion sizes and served by staff who obviously love working there. So friendly and welcoming and we were given a bowl of meat for Milo as they had no dog treats left. Thoroughly recommend.

First time visiting since new owners and it was lovely. The interior is stunning and nothing like I expected. Friendly staff and fast service. Good choice of food and a good kids menu with colouring. Big portions and tasty meals. I had a jacket potato with tuna and cheese, my partner had a bacon cheese burger and our daughter had a kids pizza. All delicious and very filling.

This is our favourite place to eat in Bawtry. It’s not just value for money, the food is delicious with a wide variety of choices to suit most tastes and diets. The service is prompt warm and friendly. Highly recommend the salted caramel and cappuccino roulade and the steak and ale pie. That said there are so many choices it’s difficult to choose! A fantastic, traditional pub (with not a bad gin selection too!), well worth a try!
